6 wowsYesterday we had a customer in her late 20s who came in and was telling my wife she just got a kitten, my wife has lots of photos of our pets up in her piercing room which helps calm the nervous ones, and starts conversations. Anyhow, she was telling my wife how she never had a cat before and had to Google why her cat was making a strange noise because she thought something was wrong with it. Turns out it was purring... How do you get to almost 30 years old and not know that cats pur?!? It's like the one thing they're known for!

6 wowsAccording to Reuters, after Tesla did it's initial layoffs about a month ago and Musk was itching for more, the lead of the Supercharger team resisted any further cuts, leading Musk to fire all 500 ppl from it.
The day before Elon Musk fired virtually all of Tesla’s electric-vehicle charging division last month, they had high hopes as charging chief Rebecca Tinucci went to meet with Musk about the network’s future, four former charging-network staffers told Reuters.
After Tinucci had cut between 15% and 20% of staffers two weeks earlier, part of much wider layoffs, [former employees] believed Musk would affirm plans for a massive charging-network expansion.
The meeting could not have gone worse.
Musk, the employees said, was not pleased with Tinucci’s presentation and wanted more layoffs. When she balked, saying deeper cuts would undermine charging-business fundamentals, he responded by firing her and her entire 500-member team.
And of course they are now trying to refill those positions.
