I think what I did here is legit, so maybe this will help someone. If any of you guys desire to activate Windows 10 using your old 7/8 key on a new device, read on:

I built a new PC recently, and decided that have a fresh new machine would be good timing to give Windows 10 a shot. This was pre-Fall-Update. So I installed Windows 10 using the Media Creation Tool, but didn't activate it. I ran it for a couple weeks, got used to it, asked it nicely to spy on me a little less, and decided to stick with it. The only problem was: how to activate it with my old Windows 7 Ultimate key without having to reinstall Windows 7 or do a bunch of other crap? This was a new PC, so even after installing the Fall Update, I likely would not be able to activate with my Windows 7 key, since my Windows 7 Ultimate had never been activated with this motherboard.

And this was true, at first. I installed the Fall Update using the Media Creation Tool, and all attempts to activate using my Windows 7 Ultimate key failed, presumably since I had never activated Windows 7 on this machine. I was about to give up, until I read this dude's answer from this thread I saw on the Internet:

I guess this splendid human being got Windows 10 to activate on a fresh machine by using a "generic" setup key that apparently is legitimate (it doesn't actually activate Windows - they are just evaluation keys used to get through setup), then changing the key to his Windows 8.1 key. A quick Google got me a list of generic keys for the different Windows 10 editions:

So I changed my product key to the generic Windows 10 Pro RTM key. The key was accepted, but did not activate Windows, as expected. Then I changed my key again to my Windows 7 Ultimate key, and voila, I'm fully activated.

I don't know if this is intentional behavior or some weird loophole, but I don't think there's anything shady about this, at least not in my case. My Windows 7 Ultimate key is a full retail key, so I feel like using it for activating Windows 10 on a new device is something I should have been able to do after the Fall Update. Hope that helps anyone in the same boat.

Pro tip for getting low Amazon prices

1. Create a CamelCamelCamel account.
2. Get the sweet Chrome plugin.
3. When viewing something on Amazon, click the CCC plugin to view price history and set an alert price.

I've saved probably over a thousand dollars doing that.

Just note this is not a pixel art or mobile game, its base line is 1080p full 2D HD. So if you're on a phone zoom in if it looks small. I am making a cropped mobile version of the video today that will be released once this video goes public.

The next video in the series will focus on gameplay, I mention the topic near the end of the video, it's going to be real cool, the third video will be the Money Shot and will also be based on gameplay.

Also Corpses 'N Souls is in early development this is a work in progress the game is not releasing this year I am working toward a Steam Greenlight and KickStarter campaign.
