We just saw a local news story about an assault on a road that some very removed family lives on, so we messaged my mom because it's her husband's niece and her husband that live there. Turns out his niece's husband's father was attacked on the street near their house, by a guy with a machete. He offered the guy help cause he was walking down the dead end street in all black with a helmet on and said he dumped his bike, so I guess he gave him a ride down the street on his ATV. Then the guy pulled out a machete and cut the guy's arm off and then decapitated him or slit his throat. A neighbor came out to see what was going on and the machete guy attacked him and cut off his fingers or hand. Details are still sketchy as it just happened but my mom was hysterical and crying because I guess they knew him pretty well.
Fucking crazy shit.
News is about to come on so gonna see if they have any info about it.

My girlfriend blocks me on Twitter one evening, I ask why. She's panicking saying she can't explain right now, WiFi is down, can't talk. Tries to gaslight me the next day saying I'm insecure, there's no trust between us. This is after an amazing week together.
Anyway, she's not too savvy and I sign out. Turns out an event @mentioned her in a video. She didn't want me to see she was seeing another guy.
