A ray of hope; my dad (a Trumper on the surface, but probably more of a right leaning centrist if you work at him enough) is voting for Biden tomorrow. After many conversations that often turned into arguments I made 2 points: I don’t vote for myself, I’m voting for my daughters, and you can’t tell someone you love them and then vote for someone who could hurt them. I think the daughter remark made an impact.

No covid for me baby! You can't get rid of me that easily! No word on my MiL yet, but I probably caught something from one of my nieces or nephews like every year round this time. Except usually you can tell if they're sick. Throat feels better today, not as bad as it's been, and I generally feel better.
