My ridiculously talented wife. It wrecks the entire kitchen for her to do this stuff, but there's no denying how talented she is with this stuff. She doesn't think she's ready for competition level stuff given the other cookie experts she follows. I think she probably needs more practice to come up with designs and techniques on her own to gain that confidence. Then again, putting your self in that kind of pressure like a competition is how you can grow past your limits too.

No, she can't ship. She's working under Texas Cottage Laws so some portion of the transaction has to happen in person. She thinks she'd like to open a bakery, but the reality is a traditional bakery requires things that can be mass produced. Anyways, she's super talented and I'm so proud of her. Even if it does wreck the kitchen for every order.

Today was a good day.

* Just had my first annual review & got all high marks, along with a 3.3% raise. I love my job, I love the people I work with, and the Friday beer o'clocks I started 3wks after I joined (and still run each week since we all went 100% WFH) are recognized as being a legit morale booster.
