The gallery show that I have three pieces in had it's opening reception last night. Stopped by after work and the place was packed! They had a DJ, food, and a wine table. Soon as we walked in I saw a couple guys standing near my stuff with one pointing at them, hopefully that wasn't angry pointing.
Walked around with the wife, showed her the artworks I saw previously that I really liked, and then eventually left. Then after we were home maybe 30 min I received an email with someone asking to buy one of my pieces for his father because he really liked it! I responded that his father has questionable taste, but it's totally his.
Woke up this morning with an email from another local gallery, who saw my stuff last night, asking me to take part in a show they have coming up in July, so that's really awesome. Looks like I'll have more stuff in another gallery soon!!

15 years ago today, I made my first post here as action wombmate. I know that's not as long as some of you legit old-timers, but if you'd have asked me in 2007 if I thought I'd still be on here talking to you fine people in 2022, I wouldn't have believed it.
I know our little community has undergone a lot of change and turmoil in those 15 years, but I'm glad it's still around because shooting the shit with Shackers is a pleasure, and I really love the functionality of Chatty threads.
