Got a preliminary offer late last night! Since it's a total career change for me, it's an entry level-ish job, and it's a year long contract, but I reckon I can kick ass and change all that.

Thanks for all the support you guys gave in that thread, and special love to ThrillKill and gameindustryplant for generally telling me I'm not trash over the past few months. <3

I shall return the favour in the near future with a game giveaway or something when life is a little bit more settled. You guys deserve it!

I'm shipping out to bootcamp tomorrow and I'm hanging out in a hotel room feeling sentimental. Please understand.

This website has been a blessing and a curse for me. I apologize for my past behavior. I've been distant for quite some time mostly because a lot of my "depression" felt like it stemmed or at least was magnified by overexposure to social media. I've been working on my mental health and bettering myself. I finally feel like I'm through the bulk of it.

This community is a pearl in an everflowing sea of vitriol and click-bait. I have made meaningful connnections with some of you, even during my sorriest of states. Some of you are shitlords, but everyone has their moments. I know I do. I'm just really glad that this place exists. I fail to think of another community that is as personal as Chatty and its users are. Never change, Shack. I love you all.

Redwall. I'm really glad you came out to visit us. I know that I haven't been in contact, but I've just been focusing on myself, which is what you need to do, bubby. Last we spoke you were going through quite a lot of stress. Keep your head up and press on. You'll always have a brother in me.
