September marks my five year anniversary for writing for Shacknews. While I started as just a guides guy, I feel proud to have seen myself grow and branch out into other areas. I finally got a RTX 3080(GeForce RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X 12G OC ), it just came to the door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man I have been saving since like Dec 2019 I honestly can't believe I finally have one!!!!!!!!!!!! This feels like I just bought a house and it seems unreal! I have been doing part time labor for a while now to support my game dev and also saving up for this card. That hard work does not feel so bad anymore that I have the card, feels amazing Man!!!!!

Canada finally got the cards in stock on Amazon, Newegg and BestBuy and the luck of the draw working late night on my game dev I finally scored at 12GB card for a price lower than any 3080 that was in stock in CND!!!! I paid $1200 CND(931.80 US) so I think that is pretty amazing considering you really can't find regular 3080s at that price here.

Man I know what I am playing on MAX tonight -> Elden Ring. Also I will try Diablo 2 Remastered, Dying Light 2, Crash 4, Cyberpunk 2077, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Borderlands 3, Forza Horizon 5, Horizon zero Dawn 1, God of war, Days Gone, The Ascent, Crysis Remake, etc etc etc all in 4K on Ultra if I have time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been on a 1080 Ti for a while and not ran any RT on my comp so I am going to have to try that as well!!!!!!!!! My mobo does the resizable bar and PCIe 4 so I am all set too!!!!!!!!!!

What other games should I try!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? Man what a time to be alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My middle kid tried out fortnite because all his friends talk about it. (Grade 2)

He played for like 20 mins and was like "dad this game sucks". Then fired up Kirby star allies instead.
