Hey Shacknews, it's time.
My heavy metal horror indie game is out now after 3.5 years! Check it out!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1807810/The_Axis_Unseen/
I made the whole thing with no publisher, there's no MTX, Games as a Service, etc. I mostly made it solo with someone to do the music (Clifford Meyer from the band Isis), someone to do the drawings and some writers, but I was the only fulltime dev.
I hope you all like it! It's only $25 with a 10% launch discount, so $22.50. There's also a soundtrack and stuff. It's about 20 hours long, way more if you're a completionist.
I've been on the Shack since I think... 2000? Maybe late 90s? I don't know haha, but now, I'm finally an indie dev who has put out their own game. I've done all the AAA stuff for years, but this is the first game I can say is just mine. \m/ Hope you have fun with it!

7 wowsfuck I just got home after coming literally inches from running a guy over in my truck, and it would have been 100% my fault.
turned right at a busy intersection and didn't notice him starting to cross.
I was able to turn around and get out to profusely apologize. he was understanding and kind but very shaken up.
I'm home now and it's been 10 minutes and I'm still shaking all over.
it's so terrifyingly easy to make a life-altering mistake. I can't stop thinking about how I nearly just eliminated an innocent person from this earth, taking them away from their family because of a lapse in judgement
be careful and cautious out there. I'm typically a very aware and defensive driver, and all it took to almost kill a guy was one moment of not checking what I should have, and typically do.
