I am proud to announce It’s official, my new occupation is: Indie Game Developer 100% full time.

Last Friday was my last day at my current job as a Software Developer, I resigned two weeks ago. I finally decided I am going to complete my dream of ->creating a game engine->establish a game company->finish creating my game->make more games->and work on other game related projects.

It is sort of insane to think of that 13 year old kid that used to go to the local Arcade and watch the auto play of the Arcade machines, is now 35 and doing what he said the first day he saw an arcade machine “I am going to make a video game one day”. For the full story read the [in reply]

You can download Unreal and Unreal Tournament 1999 legally for FREE now.

Yeah so basically the Old Unreal guys (I think they were the catalyst) discussed it with Epic's legal team and they've given the OK for the Internet Archive to host ISO images of Unreal and UT99 because you can't buy them any more.

Finally picked up my new car today! Brand new 2024 Mustang Mach E Rally. It's a ton of fun to drive and good lord is it fast.

My kid seems to like it so far, too. Apparently this was the first one with the Rally package the dealership had seen. I haven't seen any around Vancouver yet, either.

Holy shit I just walked in the kitchen and my wife said "I bought you something." She got me a freaking Switch. I have not had a nintendo console since my GameCube. I dont have any games yet but pretty excited to try some out and shop around.

Got a promotion at work. In a meeting announcing it to the team and they ask what my title is. I say one second, I have to look it up, it's pretty long. Big boss says we'll have to use an acronym. I finally found it and this is my actual title:
