Wanna see me do stand up comedy? No? Well ignore this post than. I've been doing stand up for ~2.5 years now. I've been loath to put any of my sets online but I'm trying to build a 6 or 7 minute highlight video to submit to a festival in the next few days so I want 3rd party suggestions on which jokes to include.

Some notes about this video 1) I wish it was better quality. Its from a big show I did and my girlfriend recorded it but her camera kept cutting out so its 3 parts with weird cuts in it. 2) I'm the host of this show so I went up for a cold audience. 3) There are no audience mics so the laughter doesn't get picked up as nicely as like you hear in a tv special. 4) There are a few local references in there which might make some jokes harder to get.

So we (well, almost all of us) can agree that the UI sucks major flying donkey balls. It's abysmal (yes, I think it's terrible. They fucked it up bigly).

I briefly tested it today before leaving for a Halloween party, but it makes the game much more enjoyable to me. The only thing that I didn't like was that it disabled the Sean Bean narration, but you can put it back by doing Delete the file called TechCivicCompletedPopup.lua. It is located in CQUI\UI\Popups

The other caveat is that for some stupid reason (apparently the way Firaxis structured the files), this mod operates as a DLC, so you'll have to start a new game.

Also, if you (like me) hate the typeface they used for common text in the game, try Fira Sans or Roboto (I prefer Roboto) from here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/mod-change-the-typeface-font-fira-or-roboto.601313/

Star Wars lovers need to check this out. Someone put up the 1977 Star Wars film that was scanned from an original theatrical print of the film. Pretty neat! Notice there is no Episode number at the beginning!
