Another untimely death. Arleen Sorkin, the original voice of Harley Quinn in animation and games, has passed away at the age of 67. Paul Dini has said she was the inspiration of the Harley character. She was also a writer on Tiny Toons and was a frequent unnamed caller on the Fraiser show.

11 awwsWe live in Germany so my kid’s first language is German. But he and I speak English too, but he’s at the stage where he still uses the German grammar or sentence structure with the English vocabulary. So my son basically talks like Yoda at the moment.
“Can we to the pool today go?” Or “mmm the chocolate so good tastes!”

11 awwsWanted to chime in that I'm so happy Ke Huy Quan won his Oscar as I loved his character Data from Goonies and was basically him growing up.
When I joined the Army the Drill Sergeants at Basic Training in South Carolina and AIT in Arizona all independently called me Data as my nickname just because I matched how he looked and behaved (not to mention wearing the trench coat as part of the Class A uniform which he also wears in the movie).
Ended up using "Data" as my radio callsign in my first deployment in Iraq because the Master Sergeant at the Battalion loved the movie and associated it with me. I even later dressed up as Data for Halloween in college and it was probably the easiest costume to make. -
