I could write pages and pages and pages about how we're in an objectively better place this year than we were last year even IF the worst about Omicron turns out to be true, but that's still not going to stop the handful of doomers on this site from confidently declaring all vaccines useless. So fuck it, I'll just leave them to stew in their own misery. Eat at Arby's.

For those who are still tethered to reality, here's my advice:

2) Don't incessantly dwell on things you can't control and maybe play a few video games

Also I'm sure you've noticed that I am a moderator and yet sleepy's attacks on you (which would normally be quite nuke-able and bannable) have been left untouched and I will address why that is. If another moderator wants to nuke them I will not argue.

I have no idea what it is like to be black, Jewish, Muslim, Mexican, or gay in America but I would bet it is fucking terrifying right now, and when some probably white poster posts some unrelated bullshit statistic about how black people are worse than the worst white people, I see it as you goading him into the frustration and rage he very obviously feels and did not ask for. I will ask him to please refrain from that but I will also ask you to refrain from instigating with unnecessary suspect posts. You've never been on my radar and I have no idea whether you are in fact a white supremacist nor any desire to ban you but I have no doubt your posts will be looked at more closely by the moderation team from now on.
