lil windows apps you like 2 have around. share w/me

    Autohotkey - http://www.autohotkey.com/
Sometimes you need to macro some shit. yesterday I had to check in like 200 files in piece of shit sharepoint 2003 which involved clicking each file individually, choosing check-in in a drop down, then clicking OK on the resulting page, and doing it again. Better believe i got a big cup of coffee while this thing chugged through them for me.

    Cmder - http://bliker.github.io/cmder/
Single tabbed-pane app to access cmd, powershell, and most importantly a linux-alike interface. hot

    grepWin - http://stefanstools.sourceforge.net/grepWin.html
    search through subfolders for stuff

    IrfanView - http://www.irfanview.com/
Still the shit for image viewing. This is the app I most wish made it to OSX

    katmouse - http://ehiti.de/katmouse/
Allows you to scroll whatever pane your cursor hovers over, without activating the window. Great if you have a partially obscured window you need to scroll through as you write a post / word doc / xls / whatever

    keep ass 2 - http://keepass.info/download.html
I use a password safe for work so I don't have to devote mental space to ridiculous passwords that you have to change every 3 weeks

    lessmsi - http://lessmsi.activescott.com/
If you have an environment where you don't have admin, apps which are only packaged in MSI format are a fucking pain in the ass. In many cases you can just pull the files out and run with it.

    mobaxterm - http://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/
Learned about this one from the shack. Yeah you can use putty, but this is nice gloss, a nice side of winSCP built in. its good. I think the free version allows 20 servers to be saved.

    windirstat - https://windirstat.info/
    explore disk usage

    Update your Shack[lol] scripts!

    http://lmnopc.com/greasemonkey/shack2007/shack-lol.user.js

I added [tag] and [unf] to the script. For those of you who aren't interested in seeing or using those tags, you can turn them off. When the script starts, it will run through a series of lazily programmed confirmation boxes. Follow the prompts and you can see only those buttons you're interested in.

    Cross your fingers ... lol

    Diablo 3 Guide*

A couple of people have expressed interest in a guide from me so I decided to take some time and give it a shot.

I’m going to keep it all in various replies so there is a good chance I will get PRL’d in the process but be patient and I should get it all posted eventually.

    Introduction

In this guide I’m will try and outline the basic progression strategies as I see them. I will begin with the most basic ideas behind itemization and how gearing works at the low end and then move into how to spend time and begin progressing into more specialized builds and higher difficulties. I will also have a section focused on the end-game, how to get there and what to do once you’ve arrived.

Keep in mind that this is focused on an efficient route for progression. There are any number of ways to play the game and if you are enjoying yourself than you’re doing it right. However there may be things you can do to improve or expedite things which may allow you to enjoy yourself even more, that is what I hope comes from this.

It is also important to recognize that Diablo 3 is a game about farming, grinding, and incremental upgrades. There is no substitute for time spent in game. Spending your time efficiently can improve things but it will never be a substitute for just spending more time. There are no shortcuts when you’re first starting.

*Note: If Min / Max gameplay is not your thing then this guide may not be for you.
