Chase was a professional as per usual. Tony enjoyed some parsley, then decided to be a bold explorer and tootle off the set and around on the living room carpet for a bit. Steve was absolutely not wearing any sort of hat but he liked the parsley.

My mom passed away on Saturday, after a long struggle with cancer. She was the strongest woman I've ever known, both emotionally and physically. In her final battle, she was listed as Active Dying for 23 days. Average is 2-3. Average. My sister and I sat by her side the whole time, leaving only for sleep.

Her headstone reads "No promises, no demands, no apologies, no regrets. She lived til she died."

Had a very, very confused person come through the drive thru and I was asked to come over and help. Guy was elderly and disoriented looked completely distraught and didn't know what he wanted, but he was insistent his wife get fresh fish for her meal because she hadn't been eating. I looked over in the passanger side and there was an elderly woman who didn't appear to be breathing. Asked the gentleman to pull into a spot and wait for the fish and immediately called 911.

EMTs got here about ten minutes later. She had passed some time after she got in the car. They've taken the gentleman to the hospital and his car is still here.

I'm just a bit numb right now. It's also been one of the busiest nights this month.

This is a new bumble variety I haven’t seen in my garden before. It was strangely interested in both my lavender and my carrots.

Proud papa moment!!

Renee has ridden her pedal bike before, but I always had to launch her. She had a hard time pushing off to get started (I think mostly a height issue).

Today she launched, pedaled, and stopped all on her own!

She’ll be 4 in a few weeks.
