My daughter’s cat is living with us temporarily while she hunts for an apartment. The cat has lived here before back when my daughter was still in high school. Even at that time, the cat favored me over everyone in the house.
This time, it’s even more severe. I work from home so I’m around her all the time and from the moment I get up until I sit down to start working, she’s agitated and grumpy. But once I’m settled in, it’s snuggle time.

She will do this for hours if I let her. Every day. Some days it’s too much for me. I’ve never seen a cat act like this. I’m used to them being mostly aloof assholes that occasionally like but scratches. -
