54 infsHardware TPM is not required! Your CPU has a TPM 2.0 implementation on it called PTT (if you have an Intel CPU) or fTPM (if you have AMD). Those are sufficient for Windows 10/11.
In fact, and implementation of TPM 2.0 is already required for Windows 10. This can be any of a hardware TPM module, PTT/fTPM, or a China-only hardware TPM called NationZ.
Hardware TPM modules are usually only found on Enterprise-grade laptops/desktops, some premium notebooks/desktops, and servers. Note that the US government requires hardware TPM.

54 infsThis apology seems like a good start, but Abrasion and Mayooms deserve one too, and the cortex article should be deleted. There are several of us that aren't coming back until that is done.
You may feel like he deserved everything you said, but it would be at least an olive branch where this community could start getting back on track and healing. For what it's worth, I apologize too for my shots at you, staff and shantynews. It didn't help anything. When you care about something like this community, you feel passionately about it. Sometimes that passion isn't constructive.
Can do it for Shacknews again? -

54 infsThis is excellent news. Thank you too, Asif, for lovingly adopting my grandchild, Shacknews, from its unfortunate temporary mis-placement with GameFly. Shacknews is thriving and growing again thanks to your faith, efforts and creative leadership of a winning team.

54 infsYou're making a great point here but I don't think it's the one that you're trying to make. Clinton is not a criminal. That is factually untrue. After countless investigations the Benghazi and email probes went nowhere and no charges were filed or pressed. It's this kind of frenzied hyperbole that has lead to most people tuning out the right-wing outrage circuit. However, there are very real issues surrounding Hilary and the Clinton Foundation. Manafort isn't the only major political figure to have undocumented ties with Russia: Podesta does too. These are serious and real issues, but by they've been drowned out by a torrent of lies and false allegations from all the other GOP witch hunts over the years.
Irrespective of how you feel about her, is there any doubt that Hilary could do the job? Her knowledge of the office is both broad and deep and she has backers from the right and left who will happily testify to her knowledge and experience. She has worked in government for decades as Secretary of State and as a Senator. Before that, was an advocate for children's healthcare. That's who she is and what makes her qualified to hold office.
Trump is objectively the worst candidate I have ever seen any developed nation elect to office in my lifetime. I am just gonna set aside all the racism and bigotry and instead focus on the simple question of "can this man do the job?" The answer is, very clearly, no. From the start, his whole campaign is predicated on his business knowledge but he is, objectively, a terrible businessman. His companies have largely been failures, his personal wealth is largely inherited, and his personal dealings show patterns of fraud and abuse. His only discernible policy ideas are awful and display a level of intellectual laziness that borders on ridiculous. They are not "bold" and "revolutionary", they are simply stupid ideas. I find it telling that he mocks Clinton for having published thousands of pages of policy ideas but has just a few bullet points highlighting his own. That said, Trump's laziness could turn out to be a blessing in disguise if he can surround himself with top quality advisers
Trump has said that he will hire "the best people" but has never met or talked to the only economist on his economic team. Trump will, instead, hire his family members and sycophants -- the people that he has appointed to run his campaign for him. Now that Manafort is gone, Trump has literally zero advisers with experience running a campaign. On the foreign policy side, Trump fares yet worse. When 50 GOP foreign policy experts came out against Trump, his only reaction was to blame them for Iraq, but he was in favor of the Iraq invasion too!!
Lastly, Trump has shown that he can be easily manipulated and does not have the temperament necessary to hold any sort of position of responsibility. I could go on and on about this aspect but this is well trodden ground.
