So I was having dinner at the bar here, these guys started a conversation about crime. Of course being near Memphis they focused in on crime here, which is honestly pretty bad these days. Then they both brought up Chicago and nodded in agreement with each other about how bad they that it was there, though neither were sure because they hadn’t been there. Remembering earlier how one of these guys said he was from Texas, I offered up the opinion that school shootings in Texas recently were pretty bad. This guy then went on to recite every Alex Jones conspiracy theory about every shooting being fake and how we’d never seen a single photo of one dead kid. I guess he expected to go unchallenged, but something came up out of me. I yelled out at in this man’s face, “No, you don’t get to act like these kids didn’t die because you’re dumb fucking redneck!” Then he hit me in the face…then he got thrown out.

I was stabbed during the Rodney King riots and saw bands of men torching businesses and this is more crazy.

I was debating on posting this under a daily political thread. Yet, its so absurd, that it goes off into a tanged reality. I got a message last week that my therapist was leaving and I'll have to find another one. Restarting from scratch ever year is par for the course. I was thinking about quitting therapy as well.

This morning, I get a message from my therapist. Starts off with the typical stuff like goodbye, you were a great client, I hope you find another therapist and continue your progress, and etc. It must be a form letter. All well and good. BUT THEN......

They inform me that they are leaving society for the next several months and retreating to their family BUNKER because they expect a nuclear war to break out between Russia and the United States within the next 3 to 6 months. They go on to say that the current US president is absentminded and unpredictable. They went on to say we should do the same and how we could safely get off our medications since its unknown if any more will be manufactured after the apocalypse.

I'm left with lots of questions. If Biden is unpredictable, how are you predicting he will start a war? Who are you related to that has a family bunker?? Did any of your coworkers sense you were losing your mind before this?
