35 wtfsSerious dark answer. My wife is kind of a bitch. We've been together for 10 years and married for 3. She is attractive to me, a good mom, works hard, good family and I'd rather be with her more than anybody else in the world. But yeah she is a total bitch and most the time it is completely random and she loves ruining anything I try to do with my friends and family.
It's life.
If I were gay that would be one thing, I could marry someone normal but I'm straight. It's not like we get the best of options. Find any member of the human species that isn't insane and I will show you somebody I don't want to sleep with.
Do you have any friends married to somebody that you approve of AND would want to sleep with? Most important of all, this friends wife wouldn't sleep with you because she is married? It's just a simple logic problem that you have to get over if you're ever going to get married. It's like Mario Kart, you don't get a racer that is fast, can hold a line in the corner and run somebody off the road. You just get a few check boxes and you're lucky if you get to put an X in any of the categories.

My wife and I watched Gone Girl last week, then I got a call Friday that she took out a life insurance policy on me and I needed to answer some questions. I'm not even sure she was planning on telling me.

34 wtfsat some point, we need to put some of the blame on teachers for taking such low paying jobs.

34 wtfsParenting / school stuff.
today, my kids 4th grade teacher told the kids that the USA probably blew up the Nord Stream pipeline to force a war with Russia, and that if that happens chances are the USA will institute the draft. Obviously this terrified my kids.
This to me sounds like batshit speculation and in no way appropriate talk for this age group. Should I reach out to the school or just tell the kids to take his information with a healthy grain of salt? -
34 wtfsHappy Holidays!
Yes, so happy.
Wife and I went to a dinner tonight, under current Covid guidelines in our province gatherings are allowed of up to 10 people.
We told our hosts (friends) we're good with that as long as everyone is healthy (#1 public health rule here is if you're not feeling well at all, don't go out, period).
We've had new covid cases in our neighborhood past few days, lots of people returning home from Alberta.
Anyways we're sitting at our friends house with our kids and the host tells us the other group is on their way and one of the kids is sick.
I say we talked about this, and we're not comfortable with that.
They tell me to calm down and not make a big deal of it and to just be ok with it.
My wife and I are packing up the kids to leave, it's too late, the other group is already in the front door with their sick kid, as we leave that family's mother makes a point of giving each of our kids a big hug and face kiss.
Also as we're leaving the host is making sarcastic remarks about how over the top our reaction is.
Is it ok that I'm frustrated about this? -
34 wtfsPet peeve of today.
Don't turn up to an interview 10 minutes early! If you are early, just tell the receptionist not to call me yet and loiter in the reception until the agreed time. Better yet, just hang outside the building. -

34 wtfsUgh.
A couple of nights ago my 3 year old daughter mentioned that one of the carers at her daycare kissed her, on the mouth, and that he kisses all the girls.
Kids say a lot of things but I did report it to the centre anyway the next day.
Well, today they confronted him and he admitted it, he's been immediately dismissed and the police have now been called.
I feel pretty betrayed right now.
