    Looks like a fantastic vacation!!

Still in NY helping my dad. It's been a wild week.

The day before his surgery the upstairs bathroom FLOODED, water running down through the ceiling, raining throughout the kitchen 🙃☔

So I spent several hours frantically cleaning, getting us moved over for the night somewhere else, trying to keep him from pacing in circles and melting down, and ready for his surgery. LOL.

    Surgery went well!

I'm anxious about leaving in a couple of days but also cannot wait to be home. Missing darkdeus and being the parent to two of your parents is a bit much at times x.x

Emphasis on fat loss, not just weight loss.

Caloric deficit + lots of time exercising in the "cardio" heart-rate zone, which can be mind numbingly boring and tedious, unfortunately. A little strength training in there is also good, because it will burn the fat to make muscle.

this is the way. sensors can follow you around and know which rooms are occupied and which rooms aren't, then automatically adjust the temp based on where you are

Ahh a "remote sensor" is probably the concept I'm looking for. Is that an Ecobee exclusive type of thing, or will all the brands have their version of it? So the remote sensor would communicate with the main thermostat and tell it to send the "turn on boiler" signal? Assuming I can fully configure/turn them on/off in an app or something as well.

The small UK converter is perfect for most planes where the US socket is too loose.

The brand is vaillant. The boiler only burns when needed and all other valves stay closed. The idea is to only heat the room that is needed.

It works very well and you save costs as each radiator being open in a room you are not using, is losing heat unless you constantly fiddle around with the valves which is something i did not want to do.

Another thing i like is that i put some rooms in the attic on like 8 degrees celcius knowing it does not kick in now but it will eventually when winter comes and starts hard freezing.

Things like that are just fun.

Anyway use it as inspiration, crazy things are possible.

It's also pointlessly dumb, like we have all these other kinds of sensors. it's actually fucking stupid to not use them when they exist and are totally useful.
