We drove 2.5 hours southwest of Toronto to Turkey Point Beach to get the eclipse. We got lucky and cloud cover broke as the total eclipse happened. Well worth the trip. -

1 wowsI was sitting out watching the eclipse escalate and when it started to kick in enough to be felt, this poor coyote ran up out of nowhere, in the middle of the street. Poor guy, they usually don’t expose themselves like that during the day and prefer to sneak around in the brush on the side of the hill below the road. Furboi probably was scared and just wanted to shake off the feeling by running straight ahead unimpeded. :(
