It's crazy how Biden continues to deliver on massive meaningful reform on the student loan front and you barely hear a peep from progressives about it.
The president stepping in to forgive debt for millions of people would have been absolutely in the realm of fantasy 10 years ago, and people still claim that Biden is some sort of quasi-conservative centrist/moderate.

5 infsI think it took me about 10 years before I finally gave up and decided that any attempts to try to document things inside the code according to some specific rule or procedure or format like that is a fool's errand.
I would rather have a developer just leave a few sentences at key points in the code and call out warnings/pitfalls. Brevity, because nobody maintains comments. Same thing goes for commit statements. Brevity.
About the only "system" I would want to try now is Knuth's Latex, aka his "Literate Programming", but that takes a lot of time. -

5 infsHah ok be contrarian. I was an adult in the pre-internet era and the quality of information sources was not worse than today. It was more complicated to get international news sources, but that was balanced by the overall higher journalistic standards and financial support for a much broader spectrum of national news sources.
In any case, I don’t think social media is a net positive for global mental health or education at this moment in time or for the past decade+. Your mileage may vary, but immediately going on an exaggerated rhetorical attack doesn’t exactly show off the best skill set learned from these platforms, does it? -
5 infsAny therapy with an LMHC is better than suffering alone, however, two big things to keep in mind:
One: A major aspect of therapy is to shine a light on our creepy crawlies at the bottom of our deep dark well. Otherwise the light from the sun only shines on them at noon and then they go back into the dark. It's going to be uncomfortable, but thats growth - growth is rarely comfortable.
Two: Not all therapists are going to be a good match for you. It can be really intimidating learning how to say "thanks, but you're not right for me" especially if you're like me and have a tendency for co-dependence. lol.
On the other hand, I found that when my therapist would suggest things that made me cringe, uncomfortable, cynical or roll my eyes, I learned that this reaction usually meant the suggestion was touching a nerve, exposing where I had work to do.
I found my local therapist through a referral from a friend and I found a psychiatrist through google maps, I found a for-profit organization that basically rents a big office suite for mental health professionals similar to the way a salon rents it's chairs to stylists.
My therapist was out of network (ouch) but would file out-of-network claims for me to my provider for a small refund every quarter or so, it wasn't much but every bit helped.
And in the end, even though it was expensive it was cheaper than my self-medicating habits. Even my performance reviews at work improved the following year after I started seeing someone weekly.
It was acutely (emotionally) painful at the start, but 100% worth it, just like going to the gym with a coach you like who provides the right amount of stress for your fitness level and you just keep getting stronger. -
