Doesn’t sound like PC components and connectors are properly designed for the high wattage these new GPUs draw after seeing the huge number of problems with melting and heat they’ve been having.

They need a new plug design.

I didn’t love it at first, but after I surrendered to it, and let it abuse me and forge me into a proper Eternal player, I was ripping and tearing and loving it.

Took maybe 4ish hours until things started really clicking. Whereas Doom 2016 made full sense in about an hour.

Its sort of easy to forget but the library of exclusives is so deep by now, hands down the best of any console.

Worth noting that the Steam Deck OLED fixes the battery life issues of the LCD model, on top of fixing the thumbsticks, bumpers, options buttons, trackpads, touchscreen, the screen ofc, etc etc. Battery life is actually really damn good on the Deck OLED, as good as or close to the launch Nintendo Switch and launch 3DS.

The OLED model has so many nips and tucks that it makes the original feel like a prototype, sort of like the jump from the original Nintendo DS to the DS Lite. The case for the Deck remains the same of course, but they made up for it by increasing battery and display size.
