1 infsNetworking certainly is critical. My network is built around people I've worked with who know how good I am at what I do. I wish brown nosing was as painfully obvious as you think. I've seen time and time again where people form a strong personal relationship or kiss ass and give people what they want, but it's built on other people's hard work. The brown noser themselves is often incompetent, but very good at social interaction. We fired a manager here earlier in the year that admitted he was very good at talking to people and that is how he got where he was. But he did no actual work himself and sat in his office drinking, when he was actually here. It finally caught up to him when he fumbled a big project. If you can be well liked that matters more than work performance in a lot of places, especially when you're in middle management. It's fucking disgusting.

1 infsAnd allow FF dialog. And make clear when you can.
AssVal keeps flipping between skippable dialog cutscenes and full cutscenes where you'll skip the entire cutscene instead of just the line of dialog and I can never tell which I'm in. -
1 infsYeah, but my doctor does the blood draw a few days before the physical to be able to go over the results the same day as the physical.
-
1 infsYep, seems to be typical of the physicals I've got recently.
What were you expecting?
Finger in the ass, feeling the nuts, turn your head and cough, etc. Doesn't really seem to be the norm these days. -
1 infsMe too. I was like: "I'll play this until the pandemic ends."
JOKE IS ON ME. PANDEMIC NEVER ENDED.
(I stopped playing it a year and a half ago, though.) -

1 infsMy guess is that this blend and balance idea only works in one direction. It really means I need to give up my personal time to work more, not that I can also use job time for personal things.
