The survey makes a good headline but honestly does anyone believe it when they think about this for 30 seconds?
I honestly don't understand how a program can do the tasks of a CEO of a large company let a lone a small business. I was just at my in-laws for thanksgiving and they had 3-4 people get sick at their business. Does their business shut down for the day, ask other workers to prioritize work to fill in the gaps, or look for temp workers? Even if the program could shoot off emails and hit up temp agencies and answer phone calls, its has no human element to understand what a good job even looks like. They litterally have to be near their workers and checking the work to ensure quality remains high, workers are actually showing up, customers are happy, etc. This is 2023, not 2123, there are no automated high definition cameras reading customer faces and tracking worker movements to look at the quality of the product, time it took to create, and if the customer was satisfied. What we have today is a program that could shoot off some messages to workers, customers, or other businesses with no clue if it helped or hurt the business.
And when it comes to large corporations, I see CEOs of large banks forge relationships with other titans so when opportunities or problems come they have solutions. This isn't HFT algos on wall st, its all relationship based.
