MTB Maintenance

It's time I learn how to do some basic maintenance to keep my bike running smoothly. I took it out last weekend and it definitely felt more sluggish and squeaky than seasons past. Beyond a basic wash, I want to learn proper tools and techniques for:

1. Deep cleaning and lubricating the drive train
2. Deep cleaning and re-tuning the derailers
3. Deep cleaning and lubricating the wheel bearings

Any of you have some recommended Youtube videos on this stuff? And tips on how often it should be done? Or is it the kind of thing that I should just take the bike to the shop and let the pros handle for me? Having not really done any of this stuff before, I have no idea what to expect, so please enlighten me!
