Nintendo Direct This Week Will Focus on Splatoon 2 and Arms
The afternoon broadcast will happen on Wednesday, and will focus on the Switch and 3DS titles
Nintendo will be dropping a new Nintendo Direct on everyone this week, focusing on Splatoon 2 and Arms for the Switch, as well as some 3DS games.
The company didn't reveal any other information in its unexpected tweet, other that it will be viewable via the official Nintendo site and Twitch on Wednesday at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET. The U.K. Nintendo site, however, said that info on other Switch and 3DS games would be included, but Splatoon 2 and Arms (or ARMS as Nintendo likes to call it) would be the focus.

Splatoon 2 just had its Switch "Testfire" (aka beta) late last month. The game is expected to come out sometime this summer, so hopefully the Direct can actually peg a release date. As for Arms, Nintendo showed off some single-player gameplay on Switch in January before the console launched. Steve had some fun with it, getting the impression of Wii Sports boxing, but with more depth.
We'll post the Nintendo Direct stream here on Shack on Wednesday before it goes live.
