The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Player Glides More Than 7,600m
Covering most of Hyrule in one swoop, with help from bombs and fire arrows.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is full of hidden gems, such as collecting all the korok seeds. But one player as discovered a quick way to get across Hyrule, using only a glider, some fire arrows and bombs.
At the top of Hyrule Ridge Tower, players will encounter a man who gives you a challenge to cover as much territory as you can before you land. Using the physics of the game world, a player decided to test just how far they could get. Using more than 300 fire arrows to light grass and cause updrafts, and more than 200 bomb arrows for explosions, the players was able to travel an amazing 7,615.8 meters in one jump. Of, course, extra stamina potions came in handy as well.
The trip took more than 20 minutes, and the developers did build a reward into the game. Unfortunately, it was only a single silver rupee. The inventory used was worth probably 100 times that, but the innovation displayed made for a cool video.
Check out how it was done, and please, do not try this at home:
