Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has had its share of free maps - 10 releasing with the game and six more after launch. That was probably a good thing, given that fans had to pay for a premium editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare just to get the remastered game. Now, Activision will soon be launching another DLC map pack, but this one will cost $14.99

The new Variety Map Pack will include four maps, two of which are based on maps from the original game, and 10 rare supply drops. The map list includes:

  • Broadcast: Based on the TV station from the campaign mission “Charlie Don’t Surf”..
  • Chinatown: A re-imagining of the original multiplayer map  Carentan
  • Creek: Set in a wide-open village where concealment is key
  • Killhouse: A small training warehouse filled with various building mockups that feature soft and hard cover points.

The new pack will arrive first on March 21 for PlayStation 4, with it likely being available for Xbox One and PC players a month later.

no and its fucking ridiculous you cant. infinite Warefare sells for about 20 bucks on ebay. Everyone bought 80$ version, then sold Infinite warfare for 15-25$ bucks to get some money back. I did a STS on this awhile back

The combo pack has already been on sale for $40 at times, which would kind of been the ideal stand alone price anyway, so watch for sales and sell IW if you don't want it

This right here is Activision completing their master plan to completely fuck their customers and put a final bullet in Call of Duty. I recently got back into Modern Warfare remastered, which I could not buy on its own without buying Infinite Warfare. IW is basically a rip off of Halo and I did not want it at all, but had to buy it. They slowly began changing gameplay by adding new weapons and item drops, so now its not really remastered, and basically a different game. Now they are making you pay for a map pack, and charging more money then it was originally. What this means is only dummies will pay for the pack, it will splinter the community further. Really fuck Activision for this shit.

Yes the 5 minutes I played, whatever map I was on looked like it was stolen out of Halo 5. I loved halo 5 multiplayer, but call of duty should be its own thing.

I've heard good things on the campaign, and bad things on the multiplayer. Have you played MP?

It's mp issue is it plays the same as blops 3, if you liked blops 3 mp you will like this on, if not or are burnt out on it, there is nothing new or great for you
