The Division Expansion III: Last Stand will be available on all platforms starting tomorrow along with the 1.6 update. Alongside the launch of the new expansion, a free trial will be available for new players to The Division. The free trial will allow players full access to the main game for six hours or until they reach level 8, whichever comes first. Any progress made in The Division: Last Stand during the free trial will carry over if free trial players decide to purchase the game.

The Division Expansion III: Last Stand introduces a new way of exploring the Dark Zone through a session-based game mode with objectives and wins conditions. Two teams of eight agents will be fighting against each other as they each try to complete their objectives and win conditions first while also fighting AI-controlled enemies.

Update 1.6 will bring The Division players an expanded Dark Zone map with three new areas. There will also be new exotic weapons and landmarks, as well as new Contamination events that take place underground. Dark Zone leaderboards will be added as well, along with a new Legendary mode that will provide added challenge to those seeking it.
