Prey reboot from Bethesda releasing this summer
This reboot of the Prey franchise showcases a world where President John F. Kennedy wasn't killed, leaving space exploration to thrive.
Bethesda has announced that the upcoming first-person sci-fi action reboot Prey will be making its debut on this summer. This release won’t have anything in common with the original game that released back in 2006. In fact, it follows a completely new storyline that sees President John F. Kennedy having survived the assassination attempt on his life back in 1963.
As a result, Kennedy was able to contribute additional funding to the United States’ space program, which eventually culminated in humanity finally expanding its reach into space. After reaching that important milestone, a force comprised of several alien species named the Typhon came together to wreak havoc on Earth. In response to the carnage, the United States and U.S.S.R. ended up joining forces to stave off the Typhon, creating the space station Talos I as a result. Talos I acted as a holding cell and sort of prison for the Typhon.
Prey’s protagonist Morgan Yu wakes up aboard the Talos in the year 2032 with something rather amiss, as he’s the subject of an experiment gone wrong. Aliens have taken over the ship and he’s being hunted. He’s got to keep his wits about him and utilize the onboard weapons and his own faculties to ensure he can stave off the rampant Typhons on Talos I.
If you decide to take the plunge and preorder Prey, you’ll get the Cosmonaut Shotgun pack, which comes with Yu’s family heirloom Margrave shotgun, two Medkits, a Fabrication plan to create additional shotgun ammunition, a starter kit for crafting additional tools and resources, a special upgrade, and three Neuromods to spend on new abilities.
Prey will be touching down on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5, 2017.

Well I never got much further than the end of the bloody baron in W3 so I probably don't need to buy another one. TBH I just don't really like fantasy settings that much anyway and I'm particularly over vampire shit. I dunno when it comes out if the GB QL looks good I'll take a look but it's not on my list for now.
