Injustice 2 will add extra characters as alternate skins
Power Girl, John Stewart, and Reverse-Flash can be yours, for a price.
NetherRealm's Injustice 2 has a deep bench of DC comic characters to choose from, and will be expanding its roster, in a sense, with alternate skins.
The Injustice 2 pre-order site (via IGN) reveals three alternate characters. Power Girl will substitute for Supergirl, while Reverse-Flash and John Stewart's Green Lantern will swap out for Flash and Hal Jordan's Green Lantern, respectively. Power Girl comes in the Digital Deluxe edition for $79.99, while all three come in the Ultimate Edition for $99.99. They also come with sets of three and nine so-far unannounced DLC characters and some hero shaders.
Just yesterday, NetherRealm dropped a new story trailer for the superhero sequel, introducing Brainiac as a big-bad pulling the strings and forcing heroes to reshufle their alliances.

So these re-skins will play differently also? Or it's the same move set with different looks?
That would be not only horrible but misleading because you are in fact NOT getting more characters. What's the point?
I like to see a full roster, of all my avatars. DAMN! this constant fight of trying to give us less for premium money is almost ludicrous. It's so bad you have to laugh. -
