Nintendo Has Released the Dates and Locations for their Switch Preview Tour
If you live in one of these cities, you'll get a chance to play the Nintendo Switch.
We reported previously that Nintendo sent out invites for a Nintendo Switch Preview Tour to select MyNintendo users. We've got more details on the tour now, and it looks like more people will get to preview the Nintendo Switch than we, though.
The first two days of each Nintendo Switch Preview Tour stop will be invite-only, only those MyNintendo users who received invites will be allowed to attend. However, the third day of each event will allow the public free access. If you're in one of the following cities on the indicated days, you could be one of the first to try the Nintendo Switch.
- New York – Jan. 13-15
- Toronto – Jan. 27-29
- Washington, D.C. – Feb. 10-12
- Chicago – Feb. 17-19
- San Francisco – Feb. 24-26
- Los Angeles – March 3-5
There is one catch, though. Space is limited at the Nintendo Switch Preview Tour venues, so fans will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, Nintendo did not give the times that each site will be open, or the specific locations, so we'll release those as we get that information.
In addition to the Nintendo Switch Preview Tour stops, Nintendo has confirmed the Switch and its launch games will be at PAX South in San Antonio, Texas; PAX East in Boston, Massachusetts; and SXSW in Austin, Texas.
By the time those events come around though we should know more about the Nintendo Switch and it's launch games. Most of these details will more than likely be revealed at the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 event taking place on January 12.
