Star Wars Battlefront Scarif DLC coming early next month
The Rogue One-themed pack will be out just in time for the film.
It has been a year since Star Wars: Battlefront released, and to celebrate the occasion, EA and DICE have announced that the final Season Pass DLC for the game, Rogue One: Scarif, will come out on December 6.
In a blog post on the official site, DICE revealed the DLC will include four new maps, including the sandy beaches of Scarif; two new playable heroes in Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic; and a new multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat. In addition, the Rogue One X-Wing VR mission DLC will be available for free for those with PlayStation VR. Players will get to pilot an X-Wing on a mission for the Rebellion.
If you don't have the other expasions, players will be able to check out Outer Rim, Bespin, or Death Star, maps and modes for free beginning today until November 20, with everyone able to earn quadruple score throughout the weekend..
Finally, EA revealed the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition, outed on Amazon last month, which includes the game and all four expansions. Be advised that as of now, the pricing is pretty odd. EA Origin has the PC version for $79.99, the PlayStation Store has the PS4 version for $69.99, while the Xbox Marketplace has the Xbox One version for the same $69.99. However, Best Buy, Amazon and other retailers have it for $39.99, so be sure to double check your pricing before you drop the cash.
And, just in case you were living in a bubble, Star Wars: Rogue One comes to theaters on December 16.
