Cyan Studio launched Obduction in late August after a successful Kickstarter campaign. Now the developer has finally released the Myst- and Riven-inspired title for virtual reality.

In a Twitter post, Oculus confirmed that the game is now available for $29.99. Cyan had promised it was coming when the game launch for PC, but said the Rift version needed some optimization first. It had been testing the title for VR release for a few months.

The game has received decent reviews on PC. Given how good puzzle adventure games Myst and Riven looked back when they launched in 1993 and 1997 respectively, it will be interesting to see if that beauty and overwhelming awe can transfer to the VR experience.
