Mordor expansion coming to Lord of the Rings online game in 2017

Fans of the Lord of the Rings online MMO game have wanted Mordor as a location for quite some time. It looks like Turbine, the game's developer, has noticed and are giving the fans what they want; Mordor will be coming to Lord of the Rings Online at some point next year (via MassivelyOP).

The information was revealed during a developer live stream. Mordor will be released as an expansion for the game after the 10-year anniversary of Lord of the Rings Online. For those paying attention that is April of next year so that’s when the expansion should be available.

Turbine also shared information regarding the latest patch for the game, patch 19. This patch fixed things within the game like the non-playable characters and their behavior for example. Character classes like the hunter and burglar and how the fix affects them was also mentioned. Players will want to see how the attack/critical chances pertaining to these characters has changed.
