During a special Oculus Connect conference today detailing Oculus Rift's VR plans and varied directions for its tech, it was announced that Oculus Touch controllers will be available for preorder on October 10th for $199 and will be releasing as of December 6. You'll get the bundle with your Touch controllers along with VR Sports Challenge and The Unspoken.
The hardware supports 360 degrees of your play area with a sensor that's meant to be placed behind you. You can purchase additional sensors for $79 if you so choose, and the sensors themselves will also be released on December 6.
If you're planning on readying your living space for VR with the Oculus VR suite, you might want to save up a little pocket cash to make sure you've got everything you need for completeness' sake. Looks like you're going to need a chunk of gold just for the controllers and the sensors, let alone the Oculus Rift itself.
