Blizzard reveals Samuro the Blademaster, the latest hero to join Heroes of the Storm
Art director Samwise "Sammy" Didier revealed the character live on Facebook earlier this morning.
During a Facebook livestream held earlier this morning, Heroes of the Storm art director Samwise Didier revealed Samuro the Blademaster as the latest hero to join the fray.
"Samuro, the last remaining blademaster to wear the banner of the Burning Blade, is on a warrior’s pilgrimage in search of vengeance and redemption for this fallen clan," reads Blizzard's official dossier on the character. "It will be a long journey, but he has sworn an oath to restore his clan’s honor."
In his quest for revenge, Samuro calls upon a wide variety of moves. His trait, Advancing Strike, ratchets up his movement speed by 25 percent for two seconds, perfect when you need to reach down deep and close the gap on an objective. Bladestorm is a heroic ability that transforms him into a dervish of spinning steel, while Illusion Master swaps his position with a targeted Mirror Image, one of his basic abilities that generates a doppelganger capable of dealing 30 percent of your damage and withstanding attacks up to 50 percent of your health.
