Nintendo and Raw Thrills announce Cruis'n Blast will tear up the arcades in 2017
Get ready for the triumphant return of a very popular arcade racer early next year.
The iconic Cruis’n series is making its triumphant return as Raw Thrills is announcing Cruis’n Blast will be hitting arcades in January 2017.
Cruis’n Blast will have players driving up to 200mph through the streets of London, the unique land of Madagascar, experience Carnival in Rio, speed through futuristic Singapore, and attempt to survive Death Valley. Each track has been crafted to offer lots of speed, explosive visuals, and “extreme special FX.”
Players will play Cruis’n Blast within an immersive cockpit simulator equipped with 43-inch high-definition screens and the Thrill-D Blaster sound system, which Raw Thrills claims will recreate the sounds of an actual race, in addition to its soundtrack.
Cruis’n Blast will feature a number of well-known supercars, including the Lamborghini Veneno, the Nissan GTR, and the Corvette Z06 to name a few. The title will also support up to 8 arcade cabinets for local multiplayer action.
If you happen to have a local arcade that’s still in business, then expect the Cruis’n Blast to make its way to it as early as January 2017.
