South Park: The Fractured But Whole delayed to Q1 2017
No word on if it is because the dev team wants to implement the aromatic Nosulus Rift as a feature.
Game announcements get huge reveals, trailers, and press releases. Delays rarely so. Such is the case with South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
In a very brief post on the Ubi Blog, it was revealed that the game, which was originally supposed to come out on December 6, is being delayed until Q1 2017. The only reason listed was "The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal." No word on if the Nosulus Rift has anything to do with the delay.
The game was originally announced back at E3 2015, with the South Park boys taking on superhero personas of The Coon and Friends. Gameplay was shown at this year's show. The game is taking a bit of a different angle than The Stick of Truth, moving from RPG to a strategy/RPG hybrid with a turn-based mode.
