Microsoft's inaugural Play Anywhere games are up for preorder
Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, and more are playable on both Xbox One and Windows 10.
Unveiled at E3, Microsoft's Play Anywhere introduces cross-platform compatibility between Select first-party games on Xbox One and PCs running Windows 10, and the first three are up for preorder on the Microsoft Store (via Engadget).
Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, and ReCore comprise Microsoft's inaugural lineup of Play Anywhere titles. The way it works is, you need only buy one digital copy of a game, and you can fire it up on your Xbox One and your PC. Not only will you be able to enjoy Play Anywhere-branded games on either platform, your achievements and saves will float back and forth, too.
ReCore will be first out of the gate; it's slated to launch on September 13 for $39.99. Forza Horizon 3 comes along two weeks later, with Gears of War 4 rounding out the pack. Forza and Gears will retail for the standard triple-A price of $59.99.
Microsoft has confirmed that "Every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere and will be easily accessible in the Windows Store." Whether or not third parties such as Capcom will be supported, and to what degree, remains to be seen.

Awesome, man I still can't believe this is really happening and these three titles are coming to the PC.
Its really amazing, I am going to get all three.
MS is really awesome for bringing Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, and ReCore to the PC and all the other titles after that, I still feel like its not real.
