Cyberpunk 2077 to have complex mechanical items and flyable vehicles
Job postings out some of the features for CD Projekt Red's upcoming title.
CD Projekt Red has been fairly quiet on Cyberpunk 2077, it's upcoming look at the future. But we have gotten some new details, thanks to the company's hunt for some new employees.
On its job postings page (via Game Pressure), the company is seeking to fill a variety of positions for the game, including character and concept artists, a concept designer and cinematic designer, and even a vehicle artist. Some of the descriptions:
- Proficient in current and future technology trends and mechanics, especially robotics, cyber technology, automation technology, prosthetic, military technology, automotive technology.
- Responsible for modeling incredibly complex vehicles, planes, bikes, robots and mechanics.
- Create compelling vehicle based gameplay, including but not limited to; vehicle handling and controls, vehicle combat and relevant vehicle based AI systems.
There are six pages of job postings for the game, so CD Projekt Red is ramping up in earnest for is studio in Krakow, Poland. There has no hint of a release date for the game, but hopefully once the team gets rolling, we'll start getting more details on the futuristic RPG. Oh absolutely, she describes visiting a world for half a year where people had "metal in their heads, waged war from a distance" and everyone had their own "flying ship". Pretty much exactly described the aesthetic from the Cyberpunk teaser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41EAQmx9-R8
