Blizzard's giving out free characters in celebration of Heroes of the Storm's next update
You can choose one of three characters to unlock, and it's yours forever.
Blizzard is gearing up for Heroes of the Storm's big StarCraft-themed event; to celebrate, you'll get the chance to unlock one of three characters, permanently, when the game's next patch hits on September 13 (via GameSpot).
To claim your character, all you have to do is download the patch next month and log in. You'll be greeted by a pop-up asking you to choose between Thrall, Tyrande, or Anub'arak. Should you have all of those, you can choose from three others.
According to Blizzard, all three characters cost the same, so you can choose based on personal preference or gameplay strategies instead of which character would cost you the most to buy. In the event you own all six characters, Blizzard will gift you 4,000 gold, the amount any one of them would cost.

I might say Anub. Tyrande can be hard to play since she doesn't have a lot of dmg, doesn't do a ton of healing, but does have a good escape move with her stun. She's very versatile, but unless you now a lot of tactics she can get over whelmed easily.
Anub at least can take some hits, has a decent escape and a stun move. Plays a tank role, so you gotta get up close to hit things, but can soak up dmg vs Tyrande.
I can't remember if they say Thrall is med or hard diff. I don't think he's hard to play, but timing on 2 of his abilities can make you good or bad with him. Feels like he can't take many hits either. -
Probably Thrall, but they're all very different.
Thrall's a bruiser. Anub'arak's either an anti-mage tank or a stunbot bruiser. Tyrande's a damage oriented healing support.
Thrall and Tyrande are probably the strongest right now, but that stuff changes quite frequently. Of the two, Thrall's probably easier in quick match than Tyrande, but Tyrande can do work once you get good at landing her stun.
