Little Nightmares promises to terrify PC, PS4, and Xbox One players in Spring 2017
Prepare yourself for a truly nightmarish experience with Little Nightmares releases this Spring.
Fans of mysterious side-scrolling platformers like Playdead’s Inside and Limbo will feel right at home with Bandai Namco’s latest game, Little Nightmares.
Little Nightmares has players assuming the role of Six, a helpless little girl who wears a yellow raincoat. Six sets out on a mission to escape The Maw, which is a vast and mysterious vessel that’s filled with corrupted souls looking to devour anything in its way. The game promises to blur the line between dreams and nightmares as Six explores The Maw, hoping to find a way out, although she’ll be presented with some downright gruesome enemies, many of which can be seen in its debut trailer below.
“It’s taken us about 10 years to come to this moment, to reveal the most exciting game in our company history, a dark, thrilling tale of grotesque misfits!” said Tarsier Studios’ business developer and deputy CEO Andreas Johnsson. “Since publishing the teaser last year we've worked day and night to bring the game to life, and now, we are beyond excited to show our first original game at Gamescom, Little Nightmares.”
Little Nightmares is expected to scare the pants off of PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One owners in Spring 2017.
