Ubisoft has been celebrating its 30th anniversary this year by offering a number of its most iconic games for free. Today, one of its absolutely most iconic games, Rayman Origins, is now available to download for free.

Rayman Origins originally released on Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 4 back in November 2011, but soon found itself on the PlayStation Vita, PC, Nintendo 3DS, and even on Mac several months later. The title received widespread critical acclaim and earned itself scores of low 90s to high 80s across a variety of publications.

Rayman Origins single-handedly revitalized the side-scrolling platformer genre by being the first to offer amazing visuals, unique environments, and gameplay most could play, but few could master. Don’t believe us? Then go ahead and try to attempt to some of it’s more challenging missions that requires split-second decision making to be successful.

If you have yet to experience Rayman Origins, there’s no better time than now to pick it up on Uplay. But act fast as the game will only be available for free for the next month.
