EA Origin client getting a face lift that looks good
It's in beta but the changes are promising.
One of the bigger complaints about EA's Origin service was the clunky, unituitive interface. It just looked bad. Well, EA seems to have heard those complaints and is giving the site a makeover.
The company is giving the site a UI redesign and players who have opted in to Origin's beta program are giving it a test drive. NeoGAF user SmartWaffles posted some screens of the changes. Among the changes are store integration, a more visibile way of telling if an item is downloading, and a list of friends currently playing. The look is almost a simpler version of Xbox One design.
If you are in the Origin beta program you can grab it now. There is no word on when the changes will be officilally implemented, but from the initial look, it can't be soon enough.

Well, the default name had been Aaron Linde before so I tried to do something that would not be misleading and funny instead. Aardvark is ahead of Aaron alphabetically, so I did it for Shacknews.
