How to Equip a Community Flag in Rocket League

Want to support your favorite community? Learn how to rep them in Rocket League.

Rocket League is a masterpiece of rocket-powered cars and sports all thrown into one big melting pot. It’s easily one of the most interesting and intriguing games you’ll ever get to play, and it makes for a great way to waste endless hours of your life. But what if you want to up your game, and support your favorite community? Thanks to the guys at Psyonix, you can do just that. In honor of our brand new Shacknews community flag, we decided to walk you through the process, just in case you're new to the game and haven't learned all the ins and outs quite yet.

The first thing you need to do is load up your copy of Rocket League, no matter what platform, and make your way to the game’s Main Menu.

From here select the Garage option. This will open up two additional options to choose from.

Select Customize Car.

This will open up your garage and allow you to select from different paint jobs, tire types, booster colors, and more. You’re going to look for the Antenna shaped tab near the right side of the tabs at the top of the garage window. Select it to open up all the Flag options.

From here you need to select the Community Flags folder.

Now all you need to do is locate and equip the Community Flag of your choice.

All that’s left to do now is head into a game and rep your favorite community. We, obviously, chose ourselves, but feel free to equip any flag that suits your fancy.
