Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Gets A New Trailer

The Kingdom Hearts hype train keeps a-rollin' ahead of E3 and whatever potential Kingdom Hearts 3 news we'll be seeing at the trade show. Square Enix and Disney have just revealed a new trailer for the confusingly-named Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, which will be playable at the Square Enix E3 booth this year if you're headed to the show.

The trailer shows off Aqua from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, from the playable episode Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep - A fragmentary passage -, which serves up a preview of some of what you'll be seeing in Kingdom Hearts 3. It's a little strange, for sure, if you're unfamiliar with Kingdom Hearts or the lore, but this is some pretty exciting news.

There's also the special Kingdom Hearts Chi Back Cover, an additional tale with some new information on the "mysterious foretellers," as well as additional HD gameplay from Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.

Check out the trailer and in the meantime you might want to go back and play through Kingdom Hearts to get a leg up on the footage that could be shown at E3.
