Rumor: Prey 2, Wolfenstein 2, Skyrim console remaster and Evil Within 2 will be at E3
With Doom out already and Dishonored 2 already announced, what else could Bethesda have up its sleeve?
Rumors, rumors everywhere are a sure sign that E3 is approaching. And it looks like Bethesda may have some of the wind taken out of its sails if these rumors are true.
According to Eurogamer, Prey 2, Wolfenstein 2, The Evil Within 2, and a console remaster of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim are scheduled for stage time during the show next week. We had a hint about Prey 2 last month, and a voice actress outed the Wolfenstein sequel in September, but the Skyrim remaster took some info sleuthing. NeoGAF users Shinobi602 and Enter the Dragon Punch said the remaster is real, with Shinobi mentioning it in a couple podcasts. Enter the Dragon Punch went a bit further, saying the console remaster will have enhanced visuals, mod support and all DLC. Mod support would be huge, and even more likely now that Bethesda has it working properly in Fallout 4.
Doom has already been released to stellar reviews of the single-player game, while Dishonored 2 will be coming out on November 11. We'll have everything from Bethesda's E3 showcase on Sunday evening as it happens.
