Ubisoft confirms Watch Dogs 2 premiere at E3
Ubisoft brought weeks of rumors to an end by announcing that the sequel will share the stage with For Honor and Ghost Recon Wildlands.
That Ubisoft is making Watch Dogs 2 shouldn't come as a surprise. The inaugural chapter sold over nine million copies across multiple platforms, and directors at Ubisoft have spoken openly about plans for future installments. The question was, when would we get our first look at it?
Following several weeks of character leaks and speculation surrounding release dates, Ubisoft has confirmed that the sequel will debut at E3. GameSpot received an email from the publisher giving an overview of plans for the upcoming conference. Per the missive, Ubisoft will "present highly anticipated titles such as Watch Dogs 2, For Honor, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands."
The report also teased a few surprises still up Ubisoft's sleeve for the show.
Ubisoft wasn't the first to out Watch Dogs 2's imminent unveiling. YouTube personality 'theRadBrad' posted a tweet thanking Ubisoft for a Watch Dogs 2-themed gift box, along with a picture of the box. Fan-site UbiCentral posted an unboxing of the promotional package on YouTube, which you can watch below.

I know many people were disappointed by the first game but I loved it. The first "city simulator" game I have 100 percented since Vice City. Something just clicked for me in it - the city felt full of life and people, side missions were super fun, especially the more sneaky ones, and even online portion of the game was well designed and interesting. Can't wait for the second game.
